By querying the search form, you'll get basic information such as pinyin, definition and more importantly the HSK level of this word, if any. Softwares and websites

To make your learning efficient you must have at least one spaced repetition learning system (SRS) software. Here is a quick list of powerful SRS softwares and websites:

  • Skritter: if you have the budget, this is the most efficient SRS mobile app. Its unique handwriting technology makes it the reference for learning Chinese by writing it. It features hundreds of vocab lists including HSK and most of the popular textbooks.
  • Anki: this is probably the best free SRS software around. Available on all OSes both desktop and mobile, it's a flashcard system with a lot of pre-made cards packages for Chinese, and features a cloud space so you can sync between your smartphone, tablet or desktop.
  • Memrise: this website uses a users-made content SRS, with several kinds of quizzes to keep it fun.
  • Rosetta Stone: a controversed software, however still a very efficient SRS listening software.
  • ChinesePod: an amazing study plateform full of audio podcasts, videos and learning tools.
